May 1, 2019 BOARD MEETING NOTES
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: 1841 by Bill Harwell.

MEMBERS PRESENT:
Bill Harwell, Chuck Verdon, Paul Van Dyck, Bill Knepper, John Ellingson, and Jim Pace.

April MINUTES: Approved.

FINANCIAL REPORT: Bank Balance: $6,643.91

SWAPMEET:
1. $300 damage deposit from last year rolled over to this year.
2. This year's rental fee is $322.44.
3. James Van Ornum gave John a copy of this year's swapmeet Certificate of Insurance which he will take to the Fairground office on his next visit.

FIELD DAY:
1. The Field Day location needs to be registered with the ARRL.
2. Jim moved and Chuck seconded that the club offer members participation in a bulk order for Field Day 2019 T-shirts at $20 per shirt.

POST OFFICE BOX RENTAL: was paid.

WASHINGTON SECRETARY OF STATE REGISTRATION: paid and club contact undated.

May 1, 2019 PROGRAM NOTES
The May 1, 2019 general meeting was called to order by Bill Harwell at 7:30 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag followed by people introducing themselves with their name, call sign, city/town, and how often they are on the air. The attendance signin, field day T-shirt signup, and CVARS Sunday Net Controller sheets were passed around.

The May calendar, which is available at http://cvars.org/, was presented.

James Van Ornum presented the Tesla coil that was discussed at last month's Electronic Workshop.

Scott Mattoon, WA7SM, discussed Network Radio.

The meeting adjourned at 8:40 PM. There were 31 people registering their attendance on the attendance sheet.
